• SSH clients for MS Windows: Putty, WinSCP, BitVise, PowerShell

• SSH clients for Android

Procedures

• If you want to log in:
  Login is the string: xxxxxxxx_yyyyyyy, where: xxxxxx are the first 8 letters of the Family Name (small letters, no national characters), yyyyyyy are 9 digits of your student ID.
  Password: please contact the technical staff of the lab in person.

• If you want to change your (NIS) password: issue in a terminal yppasswd
  (NOTE: do not use passwd as it can only change the password for the local machine and it won't be permanent if in the lab).

• If you want to restore the original password (if not changed by the user) or generate a new one: contact the technical staff of the lab in person or by e-mail from the domain uj.edu.pl.

• If your connection has been blocked: Attempts to log in to the admin account or non-existent accounts or three incorrect password attempts result in a one-hour connection ban for the IP address from which the suspicious behavior was detected. To remove the lock before it expires send the technica staff of the lab an e-mail (from the domain uj.edu.pl) containing the public IP address from which the connection was established.
  NOTE: Successive login errors lead to more locks!
